Bad Language

Other than removing the scene with the big stompy robots, one of the most significant changes in the second draft is the reduced amount of swearing.

Although I want things in H&M to be quite contemporary, and people do swear quite a bit in everyday life, I recently saw a new play where there was just so much swearing that it was essentially unpleasant and made me rethink things - a hateful tirade of f-words does not make a good night out.

Of course, swear words have their place in theatre, especially when the drama is portraying extreme situations, but they should be used appropriately, just like other words.

Saying all that, there's still plenty of bad language in the second draft - but now it's mainly grammatical.
